Hi! I’m Devi — Founder of Top Shelf Spirit

Top Shelf Spirit was created from a deep-rooted passion for hospitality and the experiences that bring people together.

With over 10 years in the industry, my journey started in the hotel space, where I developed a strong foundation in service, attention to detail, guest experience – and of course COCKTAILS!

Top Shelf Spirit originally came to life during COVID, at a time when the industry looked very different — but the vision didn’t. The initial goal was to open a physical bar, something I had always worked toward. Crazy to think I imagine this when the world was shutting down!

That vision began to shift after our first Toronto Food and Drink Festival.

It became clear that people weren’t just drawn to the drinks — they were drawn to the experience. The energy behind the bar, the interaction, and the atmosphere it created. It also became very obvious that opening a brick and mortar is not easy (Duh).

Top Shelf Spirit has evolved into a mobile bar experience — one that brings that same level of intention, creativity, and elevated service directly to each event.

Today, the focus remains the same: to create experiences that feel seamless, thoughtful, and memorable — where the bar becomes part of the atmosphere, not just a service.
